Harris English held off hard-charging Sam Stevens to win the Farmers Insurance Open by one shot Saturday, securing his fifth career PGA Tour victory with a 1-over 73 in challenging weather at Torrey Pines.
English finished his first tour win since 2021 at 8-under 280, and his first victory since becoming a father. Stevens began the day six shots off the lead, but surged into contention with a 4-under 68 for the best final round of the tournament, which has a tradition of furious final-day rallies, before English posted the win.
