Michael Harris II tripled and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch, leading the Atlanta Braves past the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 to even the National League Division Series at a game apiece. Harris added an RBI double in the seventh. The Braves chased Dodgers starter Blake Snell after 3 2/3 innings. Atlanta relievers retired 14 consecutive Dodgers hitters before Max Muncy’s two-strike, two-out homer in the ninth. The Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman tied the game on a solo shot in the fourth. After a travel day, the series resume with Game 3 on Tuesday in Atlanta.
Jackson Chourio hit a two-run single off hard-throwing Mason Miller with two outs in the ninth inning as the Milwaukee Brewers rallied past the San Diego Padres for the second straight day, a 4-3 victory for a 2-0 NL Division Series lead. Trying for his first six-out save since 2024, Miller retired the side in order in the eighth. He walked Christian Yelich and Sal Frelick with one out in the ninth and pinch-hitter Gary Sánchez with two outs, and Chourio lined a 101.3 mph fastball up the middle. The best-of-five series resumes Tuesday in San Diego.
