The 91st NFL Draft in Pittsburgh got underway Thursday night with the opening 32 selections of the first round in front of over 300,00 fans, and multiple Buckeyes were taken.

The first selected was Carnell Tate at No. 4 by the Tennessee Titans, making it five straight drafts a Buckeyes receiver was a first round pick. Linebacker Arvell Reese was selected right after at No. 5 by the New York Giants as the first pick by new coach John Harbaugh.

Linebacker Sonny Styles was taken two picks later by the Washington Commanders and safety Caleb Downs rounded it out as the 11th pick to the Dallas Cowboys. While Tate goes to the AFC, the three Buckeyes defenders all went to different NFC East teams.
